New options for 2012 3-series will include hybrid variants as well as the latest version of BMW Efficient Dynamics. X-Drive AWD system is the possibility to obtain thanks to favors for system redesign to reduce weight, which will only increase fuel consumption of 0.5 l per 100km over RWD models.
Other features that can make it to production include night-vision devices, head-up display and radar safety system.
